TorsoPants

Web Design/Development/Graphics
This web site was a creative collaboration from the minds of T-Shirt Hell. The web site was designed by me, with complete artistic and aesthetic freedom to bring to life the ideas of the creative team. The web site is very graphic and visually intensive, it was a challenge to find a balance between functionality, humor and imagery. The web site uses XHTML, JavaScript and CSS to render the front end, all of which I wrote. The PHP back-end was done by our development team to help streamline site updates and to run the cart/membership system. My familiarity with working within and around PHP really help a lot and gave us the freedom to turn an ordinary t-shirt shopping web site into something truly unique.

T-Shirt Hell

Web Design/Development/Graphics
I was hired over as a web graphic designer to take over the daily maintenance and creative needs for the company's very popular, top-ranked web site With such a large presence on the web as the premiere source for "funny and outrageous" t-shirts, I had to keep up with daily deadlines and maintain a strong attention to detail as the site was viewed by at least 100,000 unique visitors per day. As time went on, my job became less specific and I dealt with all the art needs of the company. Building partner and promotional web sites, landing pages and banner ads. On top of the daily updates, I prepared all the weekly t-shirt art for screen printing, creating color separations in Photoshop and Illustrator. I also had to match the visual colors on the web site to Pantone ink equivalents for print to maintain a solid product. I eventually got the chance to give T-Shirt Hell's web site a face lift, to give it a more edgy modern feel. The site was completely redesigned from the ground up, but keeping a lot of basic elements to help streamline the process. The design was to help deliver more of an "experience" to out customers, and given them an upgraded home for funny shirts. Promoted to Art Director to oversee the art department managing an assistant to help with the daily tasks and maintenance of the web site Helped produce many back-end improvements to deal with managing the artwork and assignments for over 20 t-shirt artists.
